Transfer Between Projects

Transfer view templates between open Revit projects. Choose the source and destination models, select templates, then run the transfer.

  1. Source. Use the Source dropdown (e.g., Project1) to pick the model to copy templates from.
  2. Destination. Use the Destination dropdown (e.g., Project2) to pick the target model to receive the templates.
  3. Select templates. In the list, check the templates you want to transfer (e.g., Architectural Elevation, Architectural Plan, Site Plan, Site Section). Unchecked items will not be transferred.
  4. Transfer. Click Transfer to copy the selected templates from the source into the destination project.
