Grids Dimensions

Create dimensions for selected linear grids. Pick a dimension style, select grids in the view, then click to place a dimension line for each parallel group.

  1. Dimension Style. Choose the dimension type to use (e.g., text size/arrowheads) from the dropdown.
  2. Select Grids. Click Select Grids and pick the grids you want to dimension in the active view.
  3. Place per parallel group. For each group of parallel grids:
    • The involved grids are highlighted in red.
    • Click in the view to place the dimension line.
  4. Cancel anytime. Press Esc to cancel the current placement.

Notes: Supports linear grids. Works in views where grid dimensions are allowed (e.g., plans/sections/elevations). Placed dimensions follow the selected dimension style's graphics.
